Joining BC

In May 2005 I started looking for an online writing community. Initially I found the BBC GetWriting site (now defunct) and when that closed I perused the alternatives. I noticed that Alex Keegan's BootCamp was being mentioned A LOT (sometimes positively, sometimes not so much). I knew BC was known for providing no holds barred anonymous critiques but I wasn't sure my ego could take it so I deliberated for 3 months before finally signing up.
