Bloody hell. I was drifting into another night of indolence and then I read this on the BootCamp blog:
Beside I needed to post some prompts for the Boot Campers. THEY at least were going to write today (there's a story deadline tomorrow.)
And, damn me, I thought, I can't let another evening slide. So I started writing a story for tomorrow's primaries. Only trouble is, I'm 2500 words in and I'm not even half way through yet. There's a prodigious amount of writing still to do, followed by, I expect, a prodigious amount of cutting - I don't generally do 5000 word stories... I'm not sure I have a hope of getting this done in time. We'll see.
